Escaping special characters

Is there a way to change the way emelFM2 escapes special characters in the
commands.
For example, this is how emelFM2 issues a command when i try open with->"ark
%"
ark "/home/xxx/!Downloads/recaptcha-php-1.10.zip"
ark doesn't like it very much. This seems to work fine:
ark /home/vexxor/\!Downloads/recaptcha-php-1.10.zip
Is this configurable?
