reference is dead-on accurate.
Three Roseate Spoonbills. Butler Bridge Road runs west off hendersonville
Highway down past Fletcher. Turn right [west] on Butler Bridge as you go
South on Hendersonville Highway. Just after you go over !-26, turn left
[south] on North Rugby Road. At about one half mile, there will be a swamp
/ beaver pond visible through the trees on your left. If you go a few
more yards, you cross a bridge over Mud Creek and you have gone too far.
On the far shore of the beaver pond, there are three Roseate Spoonbills -
maybe 150 yards distant.
Only places to safely park are two small pullouts just north of Mud Creek
on either side of North Rugby Road. Much traffic - be careful.
