Had a few first of year birds the last couple of days. Yesterday Tom Tribble,
Mark and I headed south on the parkway and had nice looks at a singing (such as
it is) Least Flycatcher and heard a Chestnut-sided Warbler at Licklog Overlook.
That's about mile 435.5 or so. That's a regular spot for Least. Today I had
a Prothonotary Warbler at Lake Adger headwaters. Came down Green River Cove.
There are a lot of Swainson's Warblers there now, more than I ever remember
being there. Also at least a couple of Kentucky Warblers.
