Folks
We had a great spring walk at FENCE (Foothills Equestrian Nature Center )
in Tryon, NC this morning. 10 of us gathered on a very foggy morning for
the 2 hour walk. Highlights were as follows:
Scarlet and Summer Tanagers, Blue Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting
Displaying Yellow-breasted Chats
Warblers (mostly heard due to fog - Cape May, Parula, Hooded, Palm,
Prairie, Redstart
A total of 53 species for the walk- excellent for a spring morning.
We still have a couple of spaces open on our next few day-trips (Warbler
Workshop is full) and all information is on the Ventures website.
