Funny you mention that... The house across the street has been on the market on and off for 4 years. She finally moved out a year or so ago... The house was painted new kitchen etc it's nice and a big yard but a crappy layout. Anyway talked to the realtor when she stopped by to make sure the sign had papers in it. First thing she said was "do you know anyone looking for a house". Was funny cause I know how hard it is to sell a house and nothing is selling anywhere around here. To make it worse the banks are taking months before they respond to offers on houses. Many on the market are short sells(nothing short about them) and foreclosures. Funny thing is the loans are actually relatively easy to get it's just the banks take so long that the $ for the loan runs out before the bank makes a decision on if they will accept an offer. No wonder the banks have been in trouble. They take so long to make a deal that they loose sales. Something now is better than nothing later...
