For simplicity reasons gentlemen 1 month is assumed to be enough for a
leader to travel anywhere. It is a Napoleonic wargame on a very strategic
level, not a complete historical simulator.

Provided that some kind of line of communications exists from some place
to another one may assume that a leader uses fast carriages of an
established postal system (overland) or some fast ship over water.

It beats me how he does this when he is with an isolated force, hundreds
of miles behind enemy lines
