It is less than ideal for our reunion. The largest contiguous space is an un-air conditioned high bay area, although there are many rooms throughout the building where small numbers of people could congregate. I have made many calls today looking for other options. The only 2 that I have found available are *Campbell Hall at Pasadena Fair Grounds *on Red Bluff Rd, which would cost about $2100 (excluding food and drink) and *St. Bernadette's Catholic Church* on El Dorado Blvd, which would cost $2250 (excluding food and drink). We have $1,028 in the bank, which means we'd need to reduce costs by almost $4 per person to make up the difference to pay for one of these places. We could do it, but it would impact the quality of the event to some degree (eliminate cake; eliminate beer; other steps). I was not able to talk to *St. Mary's Catholic Church* in League City or *Clear Lake United Methodist Church* on El Camino Real. Will talk to them on Monday. Places I did talk to that are not available: *Bay Area Community Center; Walter Hall Park in League City; Clear Lake Rec Center; and St. Paul's in Nassau Bay.* Details regarding these venues are in spreadsheet attached, if you care to look it over. If you can think of any other viable venues, let me know what they are and I will contact them about availability. Norm has a call in to the Exchange Manager to discuss retaining our October 18. cyndi
