Hello,

I am delighted to announce that we have an exciting new research position
in learning analytics at the School of Informatics, University of
Edinburgh. We seek a Research Associate to work with a multi-disciplinary
team on the international grant project FLoRA. FLoRA stands for
Facilitating Self-Regulated Learning with Personalised Scaffolds on
Students’ own Regulation Activities. The project aims to further develop
our understanding of self-regulated learning (SRL) using learning analytics
and machine learning techniques. More specifically, machine learning
techniques will be applied to measure SRL and design advanced scaffolding
methods to support students’ SRL.

The post holder will be based in the School of Informatics at the
University of Edinburgh. The Research Associate will also work with the
partner organisations from Technical University of Munich (Germany) and
Radboud University (Netherlands). This is an opportunity to develop
research skills and gain research experience in a world-leading research
establishment.

This full-time post is available immediately and fixed term until
31/11/2021. This post is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council
