Dear all
Prof. del Re was able to find an Austrian SME, which is willing to
contribute in the project.
The companie is:
AeroSpy Sense & Avoid Technology GmbH,
amog other fields dealing with (extract from companie's homepage)
Sense and Avoid Systems:
The aircraft collision avoidance system Sensorbox is currently under
development and will be the first platform with full Sense and Avoid
functionality from AeroSpy. It combines sensors and processing unit for
object detection and tracking, but also the collision avoidance
algorithm in one closed system.
The Sensorbox is a safety system for manned aircraft and is one key
technology for a certified unmanned aircraft vehicle.
Therefore the Austrian part of the consortium is fine again. Maybe,
there will be another SME ...

As I already told Olli yesterday, a problem with the Austrian
consortium occured. Due to a typo AVL was included as a SME in the
proposal, so that I assumed that all national eligibility criterias are
fulfilled. Due to the correction of the status to industry this is not
the case. Therefore, we try to motivate an industrial SME in a similar
business field like AVL to participate.
Therefore, I will also not attend the telco.
Open points from my side:
- Software company (SME) could not be found.
- Planned Consortium: ACCM (research), AVL List (industry), SME from
the automotive field

I am also unable to attend today. The status regarding the Swedish
consortium (AP20 below) is that Volvo Construction Equipment have
stated that they are currently unable to commit to this. From Mälardalen
University, we still have a great interest in the project, and we are
seeking alternative national partners, but so far unsuccessfully.
