I have just had a phone call from Claire Tideswell from Amey.
She apologised and said that a mistake had been made.
She said that the curb stones had been taken away for repair and would be
returned together with additional curb stones to replace damaged ones once
they had been sourced, and that the concrete curb stones had been a
temporary measure. She also said that the paving stones had been taken
away for safe keeping and would be returned.
