Subject: [eccotalk] Re: Work on the paths
Hi
I would suggest contacting our local councillors. They are
Michelle.cook@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:Michelle.cook@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Kieran.harpham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:Kieran.harpham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
magid@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:magid@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
And the councillor with the lead for the 'streets ahead' contract
Bryan.lodge@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:Bryan.lodge@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Email all four of them to ask for assurance thst flag stones will not be
replaced with tarmac.
Best wishes
David

Hi,
I spoke today to the two chaps working on the curb stones at the bottom end of
Everton Road (the grey volvo has been towed away).
They said they are only at present doing this part of the road as they are then
returning to complete some work at Kelham Island. They don't know the time
schedule for ongoing work in our area.
What worried me a bit was that they said that another team would be coming to
put tarmac on the paths up to the new curb stones, but I explained that we
wanted the flag stones putting back (some of them are piled up against the
wall). Although they then said that that was Ok I think we need to keep an eye
out for what is happening, or should we be contacting somebody in authority now
to make sure the flag stones are returned?
