Hi Gwen, I agree it's a good idea to open up eccotalk to the other roads -it
would help when addressing issues like speeding and rat-running in future.

Subject: [eccotalk] Re: Thoughts about extending the ECCO area
Just to add, to avoid extra work for current ECCO members, I feel that if
the two roads do join ECCO then as part of that arrangement a resident from
each road needs to agree to distribute leaflets and take responsibility for
inviting new members.

Hi all
In our recent ECCO Newsletter there was a piece about the possibility of
extending the ECCO area.
Currently our area includes Rossington, Newington, Wiseton, Everton and
Endcliffe Glen Roads, as well as Encliffe Vale Avenue and part of Brocco
Bank. The proposed extension would include Endcliffe Rise and Endcliffe
Terrace Roads and the rest of Brocco Bank.
Currently our area covers about 215 households. The extension would add 85
households, more or less (an increase of 40%).
Covering a larger area would mean extra work with delivering leaflets and
inviting new members. But it would also give more of our neighbours a chance
to join a 'residents' group.
If you have any thoughts or feelings about this then please air them! If you
reply to ECCOtalk then everyone on ECCOtalk will be able to share them.
Best wishes
Mike
