Hi all

Jesters is currently a shop, facing the Hunters Bar roundabout.
It has applied for planning permission to change into a hot food takeaway. (The
application was removed temporarily but has returned)
People may want to comment on this application on-line. Click on
https://planningapps.sheffield.gov.uk/online-applications/   Then search for ;
17/03428/CHU  or Jesters

Here are some factors to consider:
The application is for opening hours up to 02.00 in the morning (except
Sundays).
This is a planning application, not licensing.  So there is much more chance of
getting sensible constraints imposed.
Hot Food Takeaways can change into Restaurants, without any further planning
permission required.  A restaurant opening until 02.00 would break all past
precedents by a mile!
Jesters is more or less opposite the Woofindin Almshouses.

Regards
Mike Andrews
