Several residents seem keen on the idea of rewilding / growing wild flowers &
grasses on the verges on Endlcliffe Glen Road.
There are some concerns such as upkeep, and stopping dogs mess. I would agree
that it also only seems fair that the people living directly behind the verge
have a strong say. Several verges, especially further up the road are neat and
well kept by residents. They might prefer them to stay that way.
Everyone so far seems keep on stopping the spraying. I'll look into how we can
go about this.
If we were to go ahead with rewilding the verges, I think it would need
planning & managing rather than just throwing down some wild flower seeds &
hoping for the best.
Could we think about it as a possibility for next spring & discuss it at a
meeting?
