Just a reminder that the weather is good for this Saturday's walk through
Mayfield valley, so hope that at least some of you can come. This will be a
relaxing walk with time for conversation and to enjoy the countryside in
the sunshine.
We will meet at the Ecclesall Road/Neill Road bus stop (near the Spar
shop) at 10.00am to catch the 83a bus at 10.10 up to the top of Brooklands
Avenue in Fulwood, on the edge of the Mayfield valley.
We will stop for a refreshment break to enjoy the views across the valley
and the whole of Sheffield, so bring some food and drink.
The walk will end at Forge Dam Cafe where you can have lunch. You can get
the bus back from Fulwood or walk back down the Porter to Hunters Bar.
