You have probably seen some planning application signs go up over the weekend
to extend our licensing hours at Brocco to 11pm Sunday to Thursday from the
current 10pm and 12pm on Fridays and Saturdays from the current 10.30pm.
I do not intend to change any ways Brocco operates but the extended licence
does allow the event to go on longer. We can only apply for 15 Temporary event
notices (TENS) a year and I have already applied and been granted 7 this year
and we are only in March! So it would be helpful to have this licence extension
to be used for such purposes. I have been running TENS events successfully over
the last four years and hopefully you will see this is done responsibly. Events
do help us to stay open in an ever competitive market place.
