Hi Clare,
Your idea sounds great - one slight issue: wildflower-meadows-style grass
patches are often (mis)taken for 'dog areas' by dog owners who then
conclude that they don't need to clean up... and tall grass hides the
leftovers!
So we might need to grow some signposting, together with the wildflowers. :)

Could we consider asking the council not to spray in our area and instead
growing wildflowers along these verges next year?
I can't make meetings very often but is this something that could be
discussed?
