Hi all – another varied round-up here, with a further update due out on Monday (so don’t sorry if I haven’t included your item yet!).  Enjoy this beautiful weather and wishing you a good weekend - best wishes, Rebecca.

After 4 highly successful years we are now receiving applications for the 5th *Sheffield Ceramics Festival*. This , as usual,  will be staged in the delightful walled Garden in Meersbrook Park. The event is open to all on the 22nd and 23rd September 2019.(11-5.00 Sat. 11-4.30 Sunday). There will be over 40 Ceramic artists from around the region displaying their work, ceramic related workshops and events including the ever popular raku workshop, a sculpture display in the Japanese garden, and of course the garden itself. Stellas kitchen will be serving hot food and coffee tea and excellent cakes from the Meersbrook kitchens.

For some people, access to live music gigs, theatre performances and other events is taken for granted but sadly this is not the case for many others. Financial constraints, care commitments and social exclusion are just some of the barriers that can prohibit people from going out and enjoying events.

*The Ticket Bank*is a digital project, created and based in Sheffield, that is providing free tickets to a wide range of events. These tickets can be accessed for free by registered community organisations and charities.

The Ticket Bank program has now hit well over 500+ tickets donated to disadvantaged people in receipt of charity assistance and with over 100 charities on the platform, this figure will continue to grow. They have formed new  partnerships in their native Sheffield, alongside Manchester, London, Bristol and York and have delivered a successful campaign for */Off The Shelf Festival/ *in 2018

Registered charities and non-profit community groups are invited to sign up via the website so that they can immediately start distributing free tickets to their clients and service users.***https://theticketbank.org/***
