Dear neighbours,
Last Saturday morning a few of us met on zoom to chat about how we take
ECCO meetings into the future and then we discussed the traffic issues
around our neighbourhood.
Chriss said: "Now..... I am not a big fan of zoom at all but we had a
fabulous meeting- and what really took me by surprise was just how
lovely it was HEARING peoples voices.
"Now the weather has got colder and wetter we are not walking around our
streets as much and I am missing having chats with people we bump into
- well figuratively speaking that is !! all done at a safe distance of
course!!"
So we have come up with having a weekly 'Zoom chat' - pop in and drop
out and say hullo (details below). 7-8pm (or longer if you want to
stay), every Thursday evening from next Thursday, 17th December.
For the next two Thursdays, we can go on to sing carols outside from 8pm
- either by your door or find a spot where you can be closer and safe
(from the virus and traffic). In particular, at the junction of Everton
Road, Wiseton Roaod and Endcliffe Glen Road - but reports are that it
also sounds good from the middle of the terraces.
In the new year, we could change to a later time (after the children are
in bed?) - just chat with each other about what works best for you.
