Hello photographers and photo lovers,
Our Doodle poll has so far identified Wednesday 25 March as the one date
that everyone could make - so here we go. If anyone else can make it: you're
most welcome.
Marilyn has kindly offered to host us - thank you! (We hope to host a
meeting some time this year, but our house is still mostly a building
site...)
See you soon,
Fides & Ramen

Subject: ECCO Photo Group: suggested topic and dates
To: <eccotalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Hi all,
Since last autumn, we've had various conversations about reviving the ECCO
photo group, and a number of people were interested - but something always
got in the way. There are still lots of things 'in the way', but we want to
make a start before the year is over... ;)
...so here we go: we suggest a few days towards the end of March/beginning
of April. If you're interested, please follow this link and indicate all the
days you could make: https://doodle.com/poll/ac8ccek6rb9frtwa
We would meet around 19:30 - venue will depend on how many people are coming.
We also used to have a broad theme for each session - our suggestion for
this time would be WATER, since we've had plenty of that over the past
months... :)
...and in many shapes and forms, from droplets on a leaf to ice crystals on
the cars, from beach holidays to swimming competitions, from the flooding
Porterbrook to thunderclouds - anything goes!
Reminder: You don't need to be an experienced photographer. You don't need
posh equipment (anything goes, from high-spec digital cameras to
smartphones). You can bring old photos or take new ones - it's all quite
laid back. You can bring along 1 photo or 20 on a USB data stick (so that we
can display it on a tv or monitor), or anything in between (just not too
many - one evening isn't long enough!) You could even bring along a photo
that you have not taken yourself, if it speaks to you...
Happy snapping,
Ramen & Fides
