Thank you for the links - sounds like you know what you're talking about!
Which is great... especially for those of us who are not great at science
(like me) - I wonder whether I'm the only one scratching my head and
feeling ignorant, or is there anyone else? I've followed the links, but to
be honest, the data from DEFRA didn't actually mean anything much to me,
since I have no comparison - e.g what values indicate high/low pollution,
and relative to what? And what would be considered 'acceptable'
fluctuation, as opposed to 'unacceptable'? I'd love to know more, but even
the explanations are Greek to me...
If there are other ECCO members who would like some enlightening, I would
suggest putting this item on the next ECCO agenda, with someone present who
could explain it all... whether that's you, or perhaps Rohit Chakraborty,
the blogger?
What do others think?

to put a device on Brocco Bank if someone is willing to offer a position
(I'm guessing a front garden near the road). The devices costs around £34.
So far he has been self funding his research but I thought if Ecco could
manage to buy this it would be well worth it.
