Elaine, I don't really know where espionage stops and thrillers start, and perhaps she writes both, but At Risk concerns a pair of terrorists and several agencies who are after them. I think of espionage as much more cloak and daggery than this was, like John le Carre, up on whom I have given. I am much too easily baffled and don't retain even much simpler plots well. That is interesting; I thought she wrote espionage but probably a
preconception on my part because of her career.

I shall bear that in mind.

Thank you.

Elaine

Elaine, I think like me you are not a huge thriller reader, but At Risk was
very good and the characters held my interest. Clare
