Hi Pele, We read "Afterwards" for this group last year before you came back, and that was, I think, the view of most of us, although the basix story was ok. I have also read "Sister" which I thought much better.

Trish.

Hi Elaine

I read "Afterwards" by Rosamund Lupton last year. It was about two people who had been badly burnt in a fire.

But I found it hard to take seriously as it had them floating about in out of body experiences watching what was going on in the real world. I could not get over the thought of all these people wandering about and maybe hooking up with the wrong person.

I am sorry if this sounds flippant, but there it was.

Pele
