Having given up on the Russell in favour of Lauren Beukes, I've now finished
that one and very good it was too. There is a certain amount of quite extreme
violence in it, but the story of a serial killer travelling in time to kill
selected victims was compelling. Now I'm faced with the choice of whether to
start Philip Meyer's Texas saga The Sun or go for Strumpet City
