Thanks Alison and Steve. I'm off to explore these options. I do already have
the audible app on the phone, but somehow it isn't operating automatically.
If I can't sus it this evening, I'll go into the vodaphone shop tomorrow -
they're excellent! We don't have an apple store in Carlisle.

I think the easiest way is to install the Audible app. I haven't done this
yet but I am told that once the app is installed and set up with your
Audible account details your library is available and you just have to
select the books you want to download and there they are.

It's bound to be a bit more complicated than that but I understand that that
is the essence of it. It should be very similar to the Kindle app. I found
that once I had installed that my one Kindle book appeared in the library
when online was selected and just clicked the sync button (I think it was)
and the book was on the machine.

Not much practical help I know but I must get around to doing it myself
sometime.

 Hi folks
I hope you don't mind me asking about techy stuff, but I have an iphone for
the first time, and want to transfer my books from Audible to it. I know it
plays them because someone already did it for me some time ago. However, I
don't know how they did it, and can't get hold of them. I'm really enjoying
having the iphone, but still haven't managed to control it! I particularly
want to read John Saturnall's Feast by Lawrence Norfolk, because that's the
current read for my Waterstones group. I downloaded it to the pc, but can't
work out how to get it onto the iphone. Sorry to be so techy pathetic!
Many thanks.
June
