Hi Ian
I was interested to hear you are re-reading "Nineteen Eighty-Four". I suppose I
have been inspired by the George Orwell season on Radio 4, I have recently
reread "Animal Farm" and "The Road to Wigan Pier" and intend to read "Nineteen
Eighty-Four" soon.
I found "The Road to Wigan Pier" particularly interesting as I compared his
description of conditions and attitudes in the 1930s with today.
