Hi Elaine. It is a book set in Malaya in 1949. It is about a lady who was a prisoner in a Japanese war camp along with her sister. Her sister died there, but she lived and is trying to build a garden in memory of her. It's a very beautiful book with wonderful descriptions and some excellent relationships. I can recommend it. I have attached it to this email.
