Lovely to have the new members. Linda, I knew you at school long ago when I was Clare Jakob. Steve, you know Voldi better, but I do remember having a lovely evening with you when we visited our friends Steve and Hazel in Newcastle, again pretty long ago. I read one Bernard Cornwell set around the time of the Napoleonic Wars, but though it was a good story well told, I don't think I'd read any more. Historical fiction is not something I often go for, though I do read a lot of fiction from the early 20th Century. Clare
