Dave: I think they did it as I pointed out to give each user there own configurations. Here is a situation where Freedom Scientific had been using a system for installing JAWS from the beginning which had worked up-t-now, and therefore wasn't broke. In there efforts to try and comply with Windows XP, they went and changed the installation system, and now it is broke!
