Hi Ann,

If you have a Pre 10.6 Template, open it in 10.6 and
re-create it under a slightly different name.

George.

This is absolutely my last message on this subject. Man,
did I stir up
a hornet's nest. When I created a template in Duxbury
versions prior
to 10.6, which included a code at the beginning [svprg1:1:1]
I got the
left justified paragraphs with a skipped line between them,
which is
what I wanted. The same template created in version 10.6
does not give
me the same result. I will try doing a search and replace
in word for
paragraph marks and replace them with something else, I
don't know what.
I'll have to play with it.

Jean,

You're absolutely right about the correct way to achieve
blank lines,
but here's the problem: As a braille producer, I get Word
documents all
the time from people who *don't* know any of the things
you're talking
about, and probably never will. I just want an option that
I can turn
on or off so I can deal with the practical problem of
cleaning up the
documents I get.
At the moment, that's a painfully tedious process that can
take hours
because it literally requires going through the document
line by line.
Now, if you can suggest a rapid and efficient way to deal
with this
problem, I'm all ears.

Steve
