Oops, sorry. The same principal applies though. 26 lines + 1 for Top Margin means allowing for 27 lines in total on the page. ________________________________ From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Armando Maldonado Sent: 20 January 2007 19:19 To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxuser] Re: dbt and everest embosser the top margin is est at 1. ----- Original Message ----- From: George Bell <mailto:george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 20, 2007 11:16 AM Subject: [duxuser] Re: dbt and everest embosser Hi Armando, If you have a binding margin of 3 cells, and 30 cells per line, you will have to allow for 33 cells in total per line. Try reducing your characters per line to 28 or 29. Likewise, if you have a top margin a 3 lines and wish to print 26 lines, you will need to allow for a total of 29 lines. George. ________________________________ From: duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:duxuser-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Armando Maldonado Sent: 20 January 2007 19:08 To: duxuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [duxuser] dbt and everest embosser Hello Members, I'm using dbt 10.6 with an everst embosser version II. For some reason, I cannot get dbt to work properly with the embosser. What happens is that the page number appears on the second line rather than on the right side of page, and the braille goes over the margin. I have set the embosser to characters per line at 32, left margin, b margin, top margin and bottom margin all to zero. The lines per page is set at 26. In DBT, I have it set to the following: characters per line, 30, binding margin 3, top margin 1, right most placement cell at 32. If you can please tell me what I need to change in order for the two to communicate properly, this would be appreciated. Thanks.
