Aloha Don,
If you know the person who is sending the file you can ask them to turn off "smart quotes." That should fix the problem.


As for fixing it, it's the old find and replace trick.

which use Ascii 146 instead of a conventional apostrophe, ascii 39.
These word processors use double open quotes and double close quotes
