Dear Ray,

I know it takes time to learn DBT. But it will do almost everything you
want it to.

I'm sure that George can help you and that he would agree with me that (1)
styles will accomplish the same thing as codes do and they do a better job
of it; (2) You can always use Word to straighten out the print document
and then import that same document into DBT. In the DOS days, I used to
import files from good old WordPerfect 5.1. Now, I edit all my files using
my BrailleNote, export them to WP5.1 and import them into DBT.

I'll explain the centering codes and flush right. To center text:

1. Place your cursor at the beginning of the text you want to center.

2. Press control plus left bracket. If you have the codes view turned on,
you'll see your cursor is between two brackets.

3. Type the letters hds. Press right arrow to get out of the brackets and
press enter.

4. Go to the end of the text you want centered and press control left
bracket.

5. Type the letters hde, get out of the brackets and press enter.

To flush right text:

1. Go to the text you want to be on the right side of the paper.

2. If the text has more than one word, you must delete the normal space
between words and use the hard space or binding space. To make a hard
space, press alt plus f2.

2. After you replace the spaces with hard spaces, go to the beginning of
the text and press shift f7.

I hope my instructions weren't too confusing!
