[duxuser] Re: Computer Notation in 10.5

Hi. Question, how does one know where to put the continuation sign? I always struggle trying to fit it in where I think it should go or Duxbury decides.
Also, sometimes Duxbury puts the end of computer code sign on the next line. Any fix for that?

I'm a shade confused here, but have to admit that I'm no expert in American Computer Braille.

However, having entered some very long e-mail addresses in
10.5, using the American Literary Template, the lines which
continue, have dots 4,5,6 and 1,2,3,4,6 at the end of them.

If they are not continuation signs, would some kind would
please tell me what they are?

Hi Rick,
The Compinline style works well for me, but for long web
and
email addresses that need to be split, you have to ad
appropriate continuation symbols and carriage returns
manually in the Duxbury print or Duxbury Braille
documents.
This can be tedious if there are lots of email and web
addresses, but I've not found an easier method.

Rick,

In the BANA template, you can use the compinline,
CI-CBCInline, or Hyperlink styles to for CBC.

I am preparing some worksheets using the Bana textbook
template. The text contains a webpage citation which takes
up
more than one line. I want the indicators showing the
beginning and ending of the code to appear. In addition, I

want the web address to divide appropriately between
lines.

The address is:

http://members.enchantedlearning.com/proverbs/cloze.shtml?p

I have tried several of the [cb] codes, but they do not
seem
to be doing what I want. Any suggestions would be most
appreciated.

Thanks.
