One of the responses to this question had two alternatives to centering a line. There is a difference in using the [hds] [hde] codes and the heading level 1 style. When the codes are used, there are not necessarily any blank lines before or after the line being centered with the codes. When the heading level 1 is used, a blank line is left before and after the line which is styled with heading level 1. Each alternative has its distinct use. -- Gary Patterson

Hi Andy here in Salem, MA. I am using Duxbury with the Blazer and trying to center a line. I first type the line then press shift which is above the control key with the f6 key. The results is that the line is not centered. Also, can someone suggest what the best way to configure the margins and such? I know that you need to do one or the other either the duxbury program or the printer but, not both. I must of messed something here. I now have lines with just one word on it and Paragraphs that start too far into the line. Any one here can turn me around will get a medal of honor. Andy.
