Aloha all,
This is true. However, if there are dashes/hyphens as part of a sentence in the original document that are going to end up looking like this in the braille document;

house--and the car

then if you search for dash space the double dash that is supposed to be there will then be a single dash. Many print documents have a space before and after the double dash. Perhaps I am missing something, but I think each occurrence of the dash or hyphen will have to be considered individually.

Kay,

The Find will find a hyphen followed by a space no matter where it is. As
far as Find is concerned, it's no longer "in the middle of a word," since a
space marks the end of a word. Of course, once you remove the offending
hyphen and space, the "word" will look like it's supposed to.

Okay so you are saying to type dots 3 6 and then the space and it should
find it? My question was will it find it in the middle of a word? I will
try it and let you know what happens.
