Hi Betsy,

When you de-activated, were you definitely connected to the
Internet?

If you were, then you should have been able to re-activate
right away.

This is a perhaps a long shot, but may work.

Make sure your old system is connected to the Internet, and
try re-activating. The Reference Code should be the same as
before, and all being well, the Activation Server will
recognise and allow it.

Again on the same (old) system, deactivate. However, make
sure the system says that it is contacting the activation
server during the process.

With any luck, you should be able to re-activate on the new
system - but again, via the internet.

If push comes to shove, you may need to drop a line to
support@xxxxxxxxxx - PLEASE ENSURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR SERIAL
NUMBER - and ask them to look into it.

George.

Subject: [duxuser] Activate and Deactivate question

I deactivated DBT on my laptop so that I could reactivate
the software on a computer because I am having trouble
getting my embosser installed on our new computer. So, when
I went to reactivate it on the other computer, it says that
I had to deactivate the software on another computer before
it would activate the one I need.
Does anyone know how long after you deactivate on one
computer before the web knows that you have deactivated and
it will let you activate again?
Thanks for any help you can offer. And, of course this is
the weekend...
Betsy
