I've had a chance to discuss this with Joe.  He agrees that this would be a
good idea to point out to users; it doesn't appear that we'll be able to do
anything further about it for now.

In British Braille units (apart from pence!) are spaced. Unfortunately print
does vary from say "5g" to "5 g" for 5 grams and, in my view quite
reasonably, DBT treats these differently. Is it reasonable for DBT to cope
with such oddities of the British code? If it does not would it be a good
idea to point this out to users?
