Beta Testers, Perhaps you've already heard: we started shipping DBT 10.6 yesterday. Thanks to all of you for helping us get this far. Over the next few days, I'll be working with my staff to go over the survey results. We'll be using the results to check for gaps in our beta test coverage, to improve the process for future programs. While I'm at it, I'll be working to ensure that, if you responded to the survey and are running a single-user DBT license, you'll be eligible to activate DBT. This may take until Friday; so please be patient with me until then. If you are running a multi-user license, and choose to update to DBT 10.6, be sure to mention your beta program participation at the time you place the order; we'll extend a discount to you equivalent to the cost of upgrading a single-user license. But you have to respond to the survey for these benefits and we can only apply a one single-user discount equivalent to a license upgrade even if there was more than one beta participant. A few new things have evolved in DBT already. While I don't yet know what the release schedule will look like for a next version, we'll almost certainly have to have something out this year, because of some Windows Vista compatibility issues (which, with one exception, are already resolved in pre-release builds). So please be on the lookout for a future beta testing invitation. Thanks again. - Peter * * * * This message is via list duxhelp at freelists.org. * To unsubscribe, send a blank message with * unsubscribe * as the subject to <duxhelp-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
