[duxhelp] Re: TOC generator

Here's what I did:

Went to Help menu, selected "Help Topics."

Clicked on "Index" tab.

typed in "generating" for keyword.

The word "generating" showed up with the word "TOC" indented underneath.

Double clicked on "TOC."

Got the "historical documentation" window.

Hope that helps!

Lissa

Lissa,

When in the Search list of Topics, did you arrow down once?
"Layout: Generate Table of Contents" was the next and only
other item.

(That said, I am working with the latest Help files, so it
may not be the case until you see the next autobuild or
beta.)

But do please keep the comments coming.

George.

Hi George,

Thanks. While in help, I typed "generating" in the index,
clicked on "TOC," and was given the "historical
documentation" page, instead of any documentation relating
to TOC.

Hi Lissa,

I'm picking up on documentation issues, since I'm writing
much of it all.

If you go to Help: The Menus: Layout: and then "Generate
Table of Contents", it's explained there.

Otherwise you can get at the Topic when you have a braille
document open, via the Layout Menu, highlight "Generate
Table of Contents" and press F1.

There's another beta due very soon, so do please feel free
to yell about any documentation issues.

FWIW, I did a test of "Printed" Documentation yesterday,

and

it came to over 800 pages in print.

George.

Apologies if this has been discussed before...

Is there how-to documentation for the TOC generator,

and/or

is it working properly? Doesn't seem to be working here.
Thanks!

Lissa
