This looks unlikely to happen this go 'round.

I don't know of a way to do this without writing a custom event filter,
which is a fair amount of work for little effect.  (I'd feel differently if
pushing Save caused a crash -- but it seems to do nothing.)

You recently worked on the saving of untitled documents, though it was more
a "" tweak.
However, when you elect to save, the "File Name" field is blank, and the
"Save" button is still available.
In MS Office, if the "File Name" field is blank, the "Save" button is greyed
out until at least one character is typed.
