Hello Anita,

OK, we're onto it. It turns out that shorter sample files are just enough
simpler that I see the problem clearly. I've been lost in the longer sample
files, and wasn't clearly seeing the problem. I'll let you know when I have
a fix; it won't likely be in beta 4. But (as many on the list have no doubt
intuited) we'll be extending the beta test period. It's been fruitful.

Thank Peter Finally someone else had the problems. This is still happening
in 10.5 and I am hoping you will fix it for this one. We always work in
coded view and in print and have long lists usually to do. Just wanted to
mention that if you get out of file and re-start levels up or down it works
ok for sometime and then freezes up again.

Sean,

Well now I do feel foolish. I'd really tried to verify the behavior of some
other earlier reports, but perhaps had never tried in coded view.

I find two problems here:

Ref #1111: Shortcut keys Alt-Right and Alt-Left don't work to modify style
level Ref #1112: Style level modifications don't work in coded view

You will see some of the reason for problem #1112 by looking at the status
line. Note that, when you are in coded view, the status line is not
appropriately updated when you change levels, even if you are able to do so.
And when you leave and re-enter the style, the status line is again possibly
out-of-whack.

The good news is that these should both be easy to fix. Thanks.

- Peter
