Aloha Betsy and list.

Betsy, I don't the note below is causing the problem that you are reporting.
But it's important for testing the revised script files.

In the beta test instructions for using the contents of dbtw-jfw.zip, I
neglected to tell people to recompile the script files. After launching
DBT, press Insert+F2 S <Enter> to launch the JAWS script manager, then
Control+S to recompile the scripts, and Alt+F4 to close the script manager.

Betsy, I've tried to duplicate the problem you're reporting, but I have not
encountered it yet. So feel free to send the file to me off the list. I am
reasonably certain that the JAWS handling of highlighted text in these
script files is the same as in the previous versions of the script files.

Sincerely,
Caryn

Aloha,
I have access to two computers and one is running JFW 5.0 with Win XP,
latest version.

The other one has Win ME with JFW 4.2.

When highlighting some blank areas in a DXP file to delete them on the
computer running XP, JFW went nuts and was talking jibberish. I had to
press escape and restart the computer. I tried this 3 times just to make
sure.

When I did the same thing on the ME computer, there was no problem. I am
willing to send the file, but I didn't know if I should send it to the list.
Betsy
