Quite correct, Albert. I now find that Word supports BOTH methods. FWIW Adobe PageMaker, which I used way before I used Word, uses Ctrl + Shift + b, u or i. Whereas without the shift, it brings up different control pallets. Force of habit made me use it in Word, and never though there was an alternative.
