Do you have JAWS installed?  If so, try removing the scripts and you can see
for yourself.

I suggest that the result wouldn't be very good, particularly with a braille
display.  You'd find that menus and dialogs would work pretty well, but the
main document window would be difficult.  This is typical, not just of JAWS,
but of screen readers in general.  They need the most help (be it by macros,
.set files, or map files) in the places where the user interface of a
product is most unique.
