I just wanted to make you aware that there is an alarming amount of your
populace being converted to Waleedinism a very strong and Chrismatic
group
soon to righten all wrongs and deliver amoungst the believers the
bountifull
blessing of the endless fruit cake. Beware your salvation is at hand
(for a
low cost of a few gold coins)

Hmmm, I like that a lot. The only problem I see is that Kilian
is
really
the God of "Beasts of the forests" so if they ousted animals, he
would be
the one to be upset. However, since Dove is the Goddess of
retribution,
perhaps he went to her for help. This created a "feud" between
Dove
and
Ariakas that persists to this day.
=09
Followers of the two faiths look unfavorably upon followers of
the
other.
In fact, Ariakas encourages his clergy to create horrific
temples in
wooded
areas, specifically to attract or summon monsters there to
disturb
the local
inhabitants. Dove's followers work against this, perhaps along
side
Kilians
followers. Kilian's druids and the like would work more on
saving
the
animals and restoring nature, after Dove's rangers get through
destroying
the temple and its foul creatures.

        What do you think?

Ok, I'm with you. The books always
        say "real world" animals to
        distinguish between animals/monsters,
but that doesn't mean that monsters
        are unnatural. Confusing.
=09
So, maybe we could come up with a
story to tie retribution in? Let's
say that Ariakas creates monsters as a
        mockery of life: Owlbears, Leucrotta,
Stirges, you name it. These creatures
        wreak havoc in nature,
        ousting "normal" animals from their
        homes and upsetting the ecosystem.=20
One of Dove's purposes could be to
        protect nature from such destruction
and punish those who would work to
        those ends?
