Kilian is definitely very confused about the while situation with Illana. At this point, he is thinking, through his visions, that he is supposed to protect her and that is going to shape his actions for the foreseeable future. He wants to make sure that she gets to wherever it is that they are supposed to get to together. I can see that developing into a romantic thing perhaps, but then, since he saw her as being married to someone else in his vision, would he try to avoid those romantic feelings? Very, very interesting and it helps me greatly in developing his personality. At this point, Sinjen believes that Rig committed some atrocity using Sinjen's blade with the poison, from Kara-Tur on it which linked the atrocity to Sinjen. (As a player, I have one idea that may be behind this, but it is unbeknownst to the characters...) So, Sinjen believes that he needs to return to Toril, to find out what Rig (in the service of Tiamat) has done to rid him of his honor. Once they get Sonya's soul back, that is where he wants to go. He won't expect the rest of the party to go against the God's will to do this, but for him, his honor is more important than defying the Gods. -----Original Message----- From: Johnathan Detrick [mailto:jdetrick@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, August 30, 2002 10:32 AM To: dungeoncrawl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [dungeoncrawl] Re: Friday Morning Review I have a question. Jim said that Kilian was surprised that their duty together would be platonic. Jim, did you assume that Kilian was surprised, did Damon say something, or did I miss something in the role-playing? I also wouldn't assume that it will be completely platonic yet. Ilana likes Kilian, and I can see them becoming an item somewhere down the road...maybe. I'll be curious to see where they go. I can also see them staying just very good friends. I am fascinated by Rig having Sinjen's ninja-to. What's up with that? Does this mean that Tiamat is behind Sinjen's lost honor? Is this another plot of hers? I think it's really neat that some of the characters that had the least to do with Tiamat and her defeat, seem to be on a constant collision course with her. Are they going to be fighting her on a regular basis? How much will Tiamat and her agents be involved in the upcoming plots? jimkaren@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > OK, guys, this won't be long, but > hopefully we can get a discussion > going. :) > > Wednesday, we followed up on the > titanic events of the previous week. > Some highlights: > > 1.
