We had a lot of Ukrainian blood in our fraternity.I remember Ken Novakowski
from Mundare and countless others with Ukrainian names who were brothers.As I
look with horror at what Putin is doing to that proud country I marvel at the
courage and tenacity of that proud race as they face overwhelming odds.It
harkens back to those early immigrants who carved out a future facing daunting
odds in the far reaches of Canada.
In the face of this tragedy I am moved to express my admiration to all those of
Ukrainian blood.
I was good friends with Chrystia Freelands parents Halyna and Don .Halyna is
dead but as far as I know Don is still farming in the Peace.She is also a great
credit to Canada and will likely be our next Prime Minister.Bryan
