Dave,
I am at a lost when it comes to the frequent regulations and laws regarding
the use of bathrooms by Trans people, and more at sea when it comes to the
many laws that enable anyone to change Id gender hole making no changes in
appearance or body. In many jurisdictions you, without changing anything
about yourselves, could suddenly declare yourself to be a woman legally.
Both laws are, to me, ridiculous.
First, the bathroom issue. Given the media’s fascination with this, I
have read or heard of no violent crime committed by a Trans person in
hallowed bathrooms. In general, the issue is one fabricated by those who
claim Jan 6th was merely a normal visit by tourists. Indeed, the most
common news article close to this issue have been the women born women who
have been accosted, reported, and in some cases detained when another woman
claims they are a male. Security is called, apron occasion the police.
This is a Karen stunt - like Karen calls to the police when they see a
black new owner, deliveryman, or realtor in there neighbourhood. Typical
Republican tactic of creating fear and division where no real problem
exists.
Less trivial is the Id issue. When I entered transition there were strict
rules. One could not change gender on birth certificates, drivers
licences, or any other official document until one had completed the
transition with the operation. Before that, those of us who thought ahead
always carried a letter from our doctor that explained our attire. Female
to male trans rarely confront this issue. Facial hair, voice, and other
second characteristics happen quickly with hormones. Given bias of police,
border guards, and others, this would normally diffuse any situation.
Common sense, so lacking in today’s Trans activists, pushed this until we
arrived at the present situation. For example, attempting to enter a
changing room prior to the operation. Ridiculous.
And yes, your funny comment is right. Many legislators do not think of
enforcement when they pass silly laws like this.

Finally, a relevant question which the US Congress will have to debate:
Who pays the Checker?
There are important questions to be answered about recent LGBT bathroom
legislation and whether transgender people will be permitted to use a
restroom of the gender that they "identify" with or be required to use the
restroom of their biological gender.
If the latter, would public restrooms be required to have a Genital
Inspection Station at the entrance to all public restrooms?
Who will have to pay these Pecker Checkers, the people using the restroom,
or the entity that owns the restroom?
And how much money will a Pecker Checker be paid to check peckers?
Or, do we pay a Pecker Checker by the number of peckers checked?
How many peckers can a Pecker Checker check if a Pecker Checker could
check peckers?
