Step #2 - 15 seconds after I sent you Message #1, I am sending Message #2
using the new automated distribution service.

The purpose of this step is to confirm that you actually receive this
message, sent through the new automated distribution service, and to explain
a few things about what should be seeing.
1. If you are NOT using a Microsoft Outlook app to send and receive
emails, you should see the message is:
From: "Bob Thomlinson" and is sent
To: DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
2. If you ARE using a Microsoft Outlook app to send and receive emails,
you will probably see the message is:
From: "dsp-ea-general-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; on behalf of; Bob Thomlinson
<bthomlinson@xxxxxxxxx>" and sent to
To: DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Messages that come from the automated distribution list service will show
the correct sender but behind the scenes the Reply TO address is set to
DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> and
Microsoft Outlook insists on pointing out the apparent discrepancy. There is
no functional difference.
1. To Reply to the Whole Group: both a Reply and a Reply-All work
exactly the same way. Your reply (or Reply-All) will send your message back
to DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> to
get redistributed to everyone.
2. To Send a Reply to a Few People, and NOT the Whole Group: you must
start a Reply message and then change the To list in your new message.
REMOVE the group address of DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
<mailto:DSP-EA-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> and insert the email address(es) of
your intended receivers. If you haven't recorded the email addresses of
individual Brothers in the group, that is what the separate list attachment
was sent to you for. That list will be updated and re-distributed when
changes to the group membership occur. The list will also get updated for
events like a Brother changing their email address.
